Hallo Pierre, den Denali Highway, zu dem du unter "Highways" eine Beschreibung findest, würde ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen, da dieser zu den landschaftlich schönsten und weil er größtenteils nicht geteert ist zu den ruhigeren Highways zählt. Ich würde auf jeden Fall beim Crazy Dog Kennel von Zoya DeNure und John Schandelmeier vorbeischauen, wozu ich leider selbst noch keine Gelegenheit hatte. Du solltest dich allerdings vorher beim Vermieter des Truck-Campers erkundigen, ob ihr diesen Highway fahren dürft. Falls dies nicht der Fall ist kann man es zwar u.U. auf eigene Verantwortung machen, aber man muss sich der möglichen Konzequenzen bewusst sein. Ist dies eure erste Reise durch Alaska oder habt ihr schon Erfahrung mit den Schotterpisten dort? Wie sieht denn eure sonstige Route aus? Viele Grüße Micha

Of course we’ll include the Top of the World Hwy in the coming days. It’s one of my most favourite highways in Alaska and Yukon. I’ll dive it pretty soon, probably on June 7th and hope that the road conditions will be good. For the first time I’ll drive it from Tok to Dawson. The last few times I went the other way around. I thought, it would be a good idea to get a different perspective

My most favorite attractions of Dawson are (although it’s hard to chose) the Robert Service’s cabin and the Dänojà Zho Cultural Centre. See you in Dawson.

Wish I could read German? I hope that the Top of the World Highway is included! It goes from Tok, Alaska to Dawson City, Yukon, Canada. We have the cabin that Jack London lived in when he came to the Klondike!
